After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Murray, Marshall County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Madisonville-North Hopkins Maroons 1-0. Marshall County have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Madisonville-North Hopkins, too.

Marshall County's victory bumped their record up to 6-2-1. As for Madisonville-North Hopkins, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-3-1.

Coincidentally, Marshall County and Madisonville-North Hopkins will both be playing Warren Central the next time they take the pitch. The Marshals will head out to face the Dragons at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Maroons will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
