Basketball Recap: Curtis Takes a Loss

Curtis was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a blow against the Jefferson Orange Wave, falling 124-76. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game two weeks ago (65), the Warriors still had to take the loss.

Conner Sprattley went supernova for Jefferson, dropping a double-double on 71 points and ten rebounds. Jahda Swann was another key player, putting up 21 points and six rebounds.

Curtis' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Jefferson, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 14-1.

Curtis will challenge Brooklyn Collegiate at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Jefferson, they will venture away from home to square off against Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
