Basketball Recap: Oroville Comes Up Short

Oroville was the 63-25 winner over Waterville when they last played one another back in May of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Oroville Hornets fell 47-36 to the Waterville Shockers on Saturday. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Oroville's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Waterville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oroville will take on Bridgeport in a holiday battle at at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Bridgeport will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Oroville surely won't give up without a fight. Waterville and Cascade will compete for holiday cheer at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
