Softball Game Preview: Huntsville Eagles vs. Pea Ridge Blackhawks

Huntsville is 0-10 against Pea Ridge since April of 2016 but things could change on Thursday. The Eagles will be playing at home against the Blackhawks at 5:00 p.m. Huntsville has given up an average of 14.7 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Huntsville is headed into Thursday's contest looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their eighth straight game on Tuesday. They came up short against Berryville, falling 19-4. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Meanwhile, Pea Ridge strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They put the hurt on Northside with a sharp 12-2 victory. Considering the Blackhawks have won four games by more than nine runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Huntsville's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Pea Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 6-0.
