Baseball Recap: Washington Continues Road Dominance on Saturday

Washington made up a huge gap compared to their last game against North Forest, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Bulldogs on Saturday. Considering the Eagles have won four matches by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Washington's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.5 runs over those games. As for North Forest, their loss dropped their record down to 7-4.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Washington is set to take on their familiar foe Yates at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, North Forest will square off against rival Furr at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
