Basketball Recap: Dardanelle Takes a Loss

Dardanelle and Morrilton squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Dardanelle had to settle for second. They took a 58-51 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Morrilton Devil Dogs. The defeat continues a trend for the Sand Lizards in their meetings with the Devil Dogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Dardanelle's loss dropped their record down to 16-4. As for Morrilton, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Dardanelle nor Morrilton have any future games scheduled.
