Softball Recap: Othello Wins Going Away Against Quincy

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Othello). Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Quincy Jackrabbits an 18-0 shutout on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Othello is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. Quincy dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Othello will welcome Prosser at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Quincy, they will head out on the road to square off against Ellensburg at 3:00 p.m. on Friday.
