Volleyball Recap: Justice Wolves vs. Hayfield Hawks
Justice lost against Hayfield back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Justice Wolves fell 3-1 to the Hayfield Hawks. While the Wolves didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Hawks 25-20 in the first set.
Justice started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-22, 25-19, 25-11.
Piper Koury paced Justice's offense, picking up eight kills. Koury got some help from
Wren Pringle and her nine assists.
Justice's loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Hayfield, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season.
