Softball Recap: Huntington Comes Up Short

Huntington played against Haughton on Tuesday and lost via forfeit.

Huntington is on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7. As for Haughton, the victory got them back to even at 11-11.

Looking ahead, Huntington will face off against Evangel Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.53 runs per game on average), something the Raiders will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Haughton, they will take on D'Arbonne Woods in a tournament on Friday. D'Arbonne Woods' pitching crew has only allowed 3.8 runs per game this season, so Haughton's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
