Basketball Game Preview: Lumpkin County Indians vs. White County Warriors

The Lumpkin County Indians will take on the White County Warriors at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Tuesday, Lumpkin County had to suffer through a 74-40 loss at the hands of Chestatee. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 246th, while the War Eagles are ranked 82nd).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for White County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Friday. They walked away with a 53-43 victory over Greater Atlanta Christian on Tuesday.

White County's win bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Lumpkin County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-16 record this season.
