Timpanogos won the last time they faced Payson and things went their way on Monday too. The Timberwolves skirted past the Lions 3-2. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Timberwolves.

Timpanogos wouldn't go down easily and took Payson into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. The match finished with set scores of 20-25, 25-23, 18-25, 25-17, 17-15.

Cooper Pope paced Timpanogos' offense, picking up 26 kills. Pope got some help from Zaxen Downey and his 38 assists. Finally, Pope was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

The victory got Timpanogos back to even at 8-8. As for Payson, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 15-7 record this season.

Timpanogos has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Hunter on the 25th. As for Payson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 victory against Mountain View on the 24th.
