South Lafourche won the last time they faced Morgan City and things went their way on Thursday too. The Tarpons were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Tigers. Considering the Tarpons have won 15 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for South Lafourche and bumps their season record up to 22-11. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 6 runs in those games. As for Morgan City, their loss dropped their record down to 11-25.

Coming up, South Lafourche will head out on the road to take on Central Lafourche at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Morgan City, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on the 24th.
