Soccer Recap: Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy Takes a Loss

The Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy Eagles came up short against the Palestine Wildcats on Friday, falling 8-1. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Eagles were already down 4-1.

Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Palestine, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-4.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oak Cliff Faith Family Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Navarro at 5:00 p.m. on March 3rd. As for Palestine, they will head out on the road to challenge Madisonville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madisonville is on a six-game streak of home wins, Palestine a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch.
