Volleyball Game Preview: Niles West Wolves vs. Vernon Hills Cougars

Niles West hasn't had much luck against Vernon Hills recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Wolves will welcome the Cougars at 5:00 p.m. Vernon Hills took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Niles West, who comes in off a win.

Niles West saw some tournament action on Saturday. They skirted past West Aurora 2-1.

Meanwhile, Vernon Hills came up short against Prospect on Thursday and fell 2-0. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-15.

Niles West has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season. As for Vernon Hills, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-14.
