Basketball Recap: Okeene Drops Season-High Score on Waynoka

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Okeene). They came out on top against the Waynoka Railroaders by a score of 50-40 on Tuesday. The win was familiar territory for the Whippets who have now won three matchups in a row.

Okeene's victory ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7. As for Waynoka, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Okeene has already played their next game (against Fairview), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Waynoka will welcome Ringwood at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
