Softball Recap: Palmdale Academy Charter School Takes a Loss

Palmdale Academy Charter School made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Mojave, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Jaguars fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 16-14 on Tuesday. The Jaguars' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it six in a row.

Kaitlin Avila made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-5 with one double and one RBI. Leilani Araiza was another key player, going 3-for-5 with three RBI.

Palmdale Academy Charter School's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Mojave, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-3.

Coming up, Palmdale Academy Charter School is taking a road trip to take on Desert Christian at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Mojave, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against North at 3:15 p.m.
