On Wednesday Max Mankins didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over 4.2 innings pitched. The effort marked the fewest hits Mankins has had since back in February of 2024. As if that's not impressive enough, the pitching appearance was his fourth in a row with less than two walks. On the year, he has an ERA of 1.93 over 25.3 innings pitched.

Looking ahead, Mankins and Hughson will take on Ripon at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
