Football Recap: River City Takes a Loss

The River City Raiders ended up a good deal behind the Sheldon Huskies on Thursday and lost 21-2. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The critical scores for Sheldon came from Bresia Osborne-Henry, Lia Fleming, and Jayla Woodard.

River City's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Sheldon, the victory (which was their fifth in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 2-0.

Looking ahead, River City will head out on the road to take on Varsity Opponent on Saturday. As for Sheldon, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Mira Loma at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
