Baseball Recap: Bethel Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Bethel Christian Academy lost against Asheville T two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Crusaders took a 10-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Trailblazers. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dylan Smith put in work while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over five innings pitched. Smith was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.

In other batting news, Josh Silver made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Bethel Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Asheville T, their record now sits at 8-9.
