Volleyball Recap: Fleming Takes Down Sargent in a Playoff Battle

Fleming had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Sargent Farmers on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

Brooke Schaefer had a dynamite game, getting 20 digs and one assist. She has been hot for a while, having posted 11 or more digs the last 11 times she's played.

Fleming was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 12 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in five consecutive matchups.

Fleming's win bumped their record up to 23-4. As for Sargent, their defeat dropped their record down to 25-4.

Fleming didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 victory against Merino on the 15th. Sargent does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
