Plainfield North is a perfect 4-0 against Bolingbrook since March of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Tigers are taking a road trip to take on the Raiders at 4:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses for Plainfield North and eight for Bolingbrook.

Minooka hit Plainfield North with a five-run first inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell just short of the Indians by a score of 8-7. That's two games in a row now that the Tigers have lost by just one run.

Meanwhile, Bolingbrook came up short against Oswego East on Monday, falling 14-3.

Anaiyah Gregory made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, two runs, and one stolen base. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Karina Choi was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Plainfield North's defeat dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Bolingbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 2-12.

Everything went Plainfield North's way against Bolingbrook in their previous matchup back in April of 2021, as Plainfield North made off with a 13-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Tigers since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
