Volleyball Recap: Chapel Hill Continues Road Dominance on Wednesday

Chapel Hill proved they can win big last Monday (they won by three) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past Triangle Math & Science 3-2. Winning may never get old, but Chapel Hill sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Chapel Hill wouldn't go down easily and took Triangle Math & Science into a fifth set where they got it done with a three-point win. The final score came out to 15-25, 25-17, 25-16, 22-25, 15-12.

When it comes to explaining why Triangle Math & Science lost, don't look at Chris Lange. Despite the final result, he had ten digs and two aces.

Chapel Hill's victory was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 4-0. As for Triangle Math & Science, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Chapel Hill Tigers duke it out with East Chapel Hill Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Triangle Math & Science, they will face off against Eno River Academy at 5:00 p.m. on March 19th.
