Volleyball Recap: Noralynn Bosma and Alex Wyskiel Secure Win for Amity Regional + How To Watch

Amity Regional had won two straight home games and Odrina Ameti did her part to make it three on Wednesday. The Spartans came out on top against the Cheshire Rams by a score of 3-1 thanks in part to Ameti, who had ten digs and seven aces. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 2.2 aces per game.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-15, 25-13.

Amity Regional was led to victory by Alex Wyskiel and Noralynn Bosma. Wyskiel had ten digs, while Bosma had 14 digs and two aces. Bosma is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last five games she's played.

They weren't the only good servers: Amity Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 14 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces every time they've taken the court this season.

Gabby Scotti and Lyla Dykeman certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Scotti had 16 digs and two aces, while Dykeman had eight digs and two aces.

Amity Regional's victory bumped their record up to 12-3. As for Cheshire, their loss dropped their record down to 10-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Amity Regional will challenge Branford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cheshire, they will face off against East Lyme at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
