Baseball Recap: Hazlehurst Takes a Loss

Hazlehurst was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They came up short against the McComb Tigers, falling 17-4.

Hazlehurst saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaylon Ervin, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-1. Ervin is crushing it when it comes to stolen bases: he's snagged at least one every time he's taken the field this season.

Hazlehurst's loss dropped their record down to 2-21-1. As for McComb, they moved to 2-11 with that win, which also ended their nine-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Hazlehurst nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
