Basketball Game Preview: Albany Academy for Boys Cadets vs. Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders

Having just played yesterday, the Albany Academy for Boys Cadets will head out on the road to face off against the Archbishop Stepinac Crusaders at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

Albany Academy for Boys is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of New York's top teams: Iona Prep, who was ranked 24th at the time (Albany Academy for Boys was ranked second). Albany Academy for Boys fell 63-50 to Iona Prep on Saturday. The Cadets' loss signaled the end of their 13-game winning streak dating back to last season.

Meanwhile, Archbishop Stepinac waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Crusaders 78-58.

Archbishop Stepinac has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.3 points per game. As for Albany Academy for Boys, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.
