Baseball Recap: Rosamond Roadrunners vs. Kern Valley Broncs
Rosamond had lost three straight on the road, but on Tuesday they dropped down to 14-5 to make it four. They took a 6-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Kern Valley Broncs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Roadrunners of the 14-2 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2025.
Shawn Webb made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
As for Kern Valley, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-7. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games.
