Soccer Recap: Alice Takes a Loss

Alice was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles, falling 3-0. The match was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Alice struggled afterwards.

Alice's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Alice will square off against rival Miller at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial is set to take on their familiar foe Flour Bluff at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
