Baseball Recap: Shelton Comes Up Short

Shelton was the 2-0 winner over Fairfield Prep when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Gaels fell just short of the Jesuits by a score of 5-3 on Friday. The Gaels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shelton's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Fairfield Prep, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shelton will square off against Wilbur Cross at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairfield Prep, they will take on Hillhouse at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
