Soccer Recap: Augustine Prep Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Thomas More on Friday, Augustine Prep came back down to earth. The Lions came up short against the Whitefish Bay Blue Dukes on Tuesday, falling 6-1. Augustine Prep were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 4-0.

Augustine Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 9-5-1. As for Whitefish Bay, their victory bumped their record up to 8-2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Augustine Prep will challenge Pius XI Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Pius XI Catholic will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Augustine Prep surely won't give up without a fight. As for Whitefish Bay, they will take on Franklin at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Whitefish Bay's defense better be ready for this one: Franklin have averaged an impressive 3.1 goals per game this season.
