After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Springfield, Lincoln was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They walked away with a 4-2 win over the Auburn Trojans. Lincoln haven't had any issues with Auburn recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

Lincoln hit Auburn with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Shay Neeley, Makinley Knapp, Myah Bowman, and Ivy Sandel.

Lincoln's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Auburn, their defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 5-7.

Lincoln didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against North Mac on the 14th. As for Auburn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Riverton/Tri-City on the 14th.
