Volleyball Recap: Bethesda Christian Takes a Loss

Bethesda Christian lost against Harvest Christian on September 2nd and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Lions lost 3-0 to the Saints.

While Bethesda Christian was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-21.

Harvest Christian can attribute much of their success to Sam Velasquez, who had 22 digs and one assist. Velasquez is crushing it when it comes to digs: she's had at least 18 every time she's taken the court this season.

Bethesda Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Harvest Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-2.

Coming up, Bethesda Christian will face off against Victory Baptist Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Harvest Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Nazarene Christian Academy on the 29th.
