Basketball Recap: Enloe Takes a Loss

Enloe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They were dealt a 60-8 loss at the hands of the Heritage Huskies. The Eagles were probably out for revenge after losing 75-16 to them when the teams met back in December of 2018, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Heritage found their leader in sophomore CELIA LAVITA, who posted 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for LAVITA. NIYEON HENDRIX was another key player, putting up ten points.

Enloe's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Heritage, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

After both having extra time off, Enloe and East Wake will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Heritage, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Chapel Hill at 6:00 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
