Volleyball Recap: Daphne Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Daphne had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They blew past the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals 3-0. The Trojans not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 11th (when they won 3-0).

The final score came out to 25-11, 25-16, 25-11.

Isabella Charlton was the offensive standout of the game as she had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted over her last seven matches.

Daphne's win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for St. Michael Catholic, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Daphne and St. Michael Catholic will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Trojans are set to challenge their familiar foe McGill-Toolen at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, St. Michael Catholic will face off against rival Satsuma at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
