After a string of five wins, Westlake's good fortune finally ran out on Monday. They fell 9-4 to the Ridgeline Riverhawks.

Lexi Hilton was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with two runs and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Pead, who went 2-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Westlake's loss dropped their record down to 16-5. As for Ridgeline, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-13.

Looking ahead, Westlake will square off against Lone Peak at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Thunder are facing the Knights at the right time seeing as the Knights are stuck on a four-game losing streak. Ridgeline does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
