Gainesville Christian Community was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the First Christian Lions, falling 77-20. One positive for the Warriors, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

First Christian found their leader in sophomore Reagan Davis, who went 10 for 15 en route to 20 points in addition to five rebounds and five steals. The game was Davis' 17th in a row with at least ten points. Marie Calrlson was another key player, going 7 of 8 on her way to 14 points.

Gainesville Christian Community's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for First Christian, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 13-1.

Gainesville Christian Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 49-2 defeat against Open Bible Christian on the 17th. As for First Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 48-32 victory against Cedar Key on the 17th.
