Volleyball Recap: Albany Cougars vs. El Cerrito Gauchos
Albany lost against El Cerrito on March 7th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. Albany came up short against El Cerrito, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Cougars have suffered since May 7, 2024.
While Albany had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 21 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-23, 25-21.
Tenzin Rakasha had a dynamite game For El Cerrito., getting three digs and three aces. Rakasha is on a roll when it comes to aces, as he's now served two or more in each of the last five games he's played.
