Lapel has won five straight games at home, while Triton Central has won five straight on the road dating back to last season, but those streaks won't matter much on Friday. The Bulldogs will host the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Lapel's defense has only allowed 12 points per game this season, so Triton Central's offense will have their work cut out for them.

Devin Craig was his usual excellent self, throwing for 300 yards and four touchdowns. He is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in each of the last three games he's played.
Lapel didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Eastern Hancock to a completion percentage of just 33.3%. The team can thank Mason Page for the heroic effort on defense: he. Lapel wasn't nearly as limited: they posted one of 53.6%.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Triton Central). They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Northeastern 49-6. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 49-0.
Lapel better keep an eye on Braden Brown. He was instrumental in Triton Central's win, rushing for 139 yards and three scores on only 13 carries, while also picking up 51 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. Brown's longest rush was for an incredible 92 yards. Matthew Wilkins was another key player, throwing for 160 yards and four touchdowns while completing 83.3% of his passes.

Lapel beat Triton Central 27-17 in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Will the Bulldogs repeat their success, or do the Tigers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
