Soccer Game Preview: Estancia vs. Loara

The Estancia Eagles will challenge the Loara Saxons at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the contest red-hot, with Estancia sitting on three straight wins and Loara on five.

Estancia's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They came out on top against Century by a score of 2-0. Given Estancia's advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while Century are ranked 634th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Loara beat Rancho Alamitos 3-1 on Thursday.

The Saxons hit the Vaqueros with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Sadiq Khalil, Omar Nathan Diaz, and Uzi Gonzalez.

Loara's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Estancia, their win bumped their record up to 9-2-1.

Everything went Estancia's way against Loara in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as Estancia made off with a 4-0 victory. Do the Eagles have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Saxons turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
