Softball Recap: Glen Rock Continues Road Dominance on Thursday

Glen Rock proved they can win big on Tuesday (they won by 17) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Becton Wildcats 8-7. The Panthers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Glen Rock pushed their record up to 10-3 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.1 runs on average over those games. As for Becton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-6-1 record this season.

Glen Rock will face off against Butler at 4:00 p.m. on the 9th. As for Becton, they will square off against Paramus Catholic at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
