Football Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Gordonsville

Warren County faced Gordonsville in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers lost 27-6 to the Tigers. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers have been going strong on the season, but this is now their second loss in a row.

Chloe Wanamaker threw for 154 yards while completing 71.4% of her passes. Zoie Verge was her top target, picking up 60 receiving yards and one TD.

Warren County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-5. As for Gordonsville, their win bumped their record up to 4-5.

As of now, neither Warren County nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
