Soccer Recap: Hallettsville Starts Season with Draw on the Road

Hallettsville was not able to secure the win in their season-opener on Friday. Neither they nor the Rice Consolidated Raiders could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Rice Consolidated's draw makes their record 2-2-1 this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Hallettsville will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Columbus at 5:30 p.m. on January 21st. As for Rice Consolidated, they will welcome Hempstead at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
