Basketball Recap: Central Cabarrus Vikings vs. East Rowan Mustangs
Central Cabarrus was the 57-35 winner over East Rowan when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Central Cabarrus Vikings received a blow on Friday as they fell 63-48 to the East Rowan Mustangs. While losing is never fun, the Vikings can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Mustangs are ranked 156th).

Central Cabarrus' defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances.
