The Immanuel Christian Warriors and the Bowie Bears will round out the year against one another at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
After a string of three wins, Immanuel Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a serious blow against Eastlake, falling 83-39. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Immanuel Christian has scored all season.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Ben Story, who scored 18 points. He scored a full 46.2% of Immanuel Christian's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Noah Ayala was another key contributor, scoring six points along with nine rebounds.
Meanwhile, Bowie unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak last Friday. They took a 48-44 hit to the loss column at the hands of San Elizario.
Immanuel Christian's loss ended a six-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-3. As for Bowie, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-9.
