Basketball Game Preview: Osborne Cardinals vs. McEachern Indians

Osborne is 0-4 against McEachern since January of 2015 but things could change on Tuesday. The Osborne Cardinals will venture away from home to face off against the McEachern Indians at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Osborne is headed into Tuesday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fourth straight game on Saturday. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 54-52 heartbreaker at the hands of Northgate.

Meanwhile, McEachern unfortunately witnessed the end of their nine-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 46-38 to Grayson. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' national basketball rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Rams are ranked seventh).

McEachern's defeat ended a ten-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 10-3. As for Osborne, their loss dropped their record down to 3-11.

Osborne came up short against McEachern in their previous meeting back in January of 2016, falling 66-55. Can Osborne avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
