Alton Henderson was a major factor in Marshall's win over Palestine on Friday. Henderson rushed for 91 yards and three scores, and also threw for 115 yards on 11 of 16 attempts. The performance marked the most passing yards he has had since back in November of 2024.

Henderson and Marshall will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Mt. Pleasant at 7:00 p.m. on October 3.
