Baseball Recap: LAMP Comes Up Short

LAMP was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Montgomery Catholic Knights, falling 11-1. If the Golden Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 5-2 to the Knights when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

LAMP's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Montgomery Catholic, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14-1.

While LAMP had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
