Soccer Recap: American Heritage Takes a Loss

The matchup between the Stallions and the Patriots on Thursday hardly resembled the 2-0 effort from their previous meeting. The American Heritage Stallions came up short against the American Heritage Patriots, falling 8-0. While losing is never fun, the Stallions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 200th, while the Patriots are ranked first).

The Stallions dropped their record down to 4-7-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for the Patriots, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-1.

The Stallions does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for the Patriots, they will face off against the Sharks at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
