Softball Game Preview: Cedar Key Sharks vs. Bronson Eagles

Cedar Key hasn't had much luck against Bronson recently, but that could start to change on Monday. Cedar Key will venture away from home to take on Bronson at 7:00 p.m. Bronson took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Cedar Key, who comes in off a win.

Cedar Key will roll into the contest after a wild two-game stretch: they only put up one run on Thursday, then bounced right back against Eastside on Friday. Cedar Key put the hurt on Eastside with a sharp 17-2 win. Considering the Sharks have won four games by more than 11 runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Bronson fell victim to Williston and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Red Devils, falling 11-0. The Eagles just can't catch a break and have now endured three losses in a row.

Bronson's defeat dropped their record down to 9-9. As for Cedar Key, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

Cedar Key might still be hurting after the 14-0 loss they got from Bronson when the teams last played last Friday. Can Cedar Key avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
