Aquinas won against DeForest on Wednesday with nine runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Blugolds blew past the Sparta Spartans 9-2. The Blugolds haven't had any issues with the Spartans recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive victory against them.

Aquinas' win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Sparta, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.
