Football Game Preview: Cisco Loboes vs. Panhandle Panthers + How To Watch

The Cisco Loboes will venture away from home to take on the Panhandle Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cisco is coming into the game hot, having won their last ten games.

Cisco is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup last Thursday. They claimed a resounding 62-0 victory over Christoval. That looming 62-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Loboes yet this season.

Colby McIlroy had another great game (as he tends to do), throwing for 110 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes, and also rushing for 82 yards and one score on only nine carries. Those three passing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Cisco was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 323 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 154 rushing yards in six consecutive contests.

Cisco didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Corbin Harrison and Carter Toof. Harrison got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Meanwhile, Panhandle strolled past Post with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 35-18. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Panthers' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked 90th, while the Antelopes are ranked 322nd).

Cisco's record is now 10-1. As for Panhandle, their record now sits at 9-2.

Everything came up roses for Cisco against Panhandle in their previous matchup back in November of 2021, as the team secured a 69-21 win. Do the Loboes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Panthers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
